HYPEROBJECT #1

Hyperobject #1 (HO1) is an immersive audiovisual experience that transports the viewer to an imaginary universe where an (hyper)object is partially revealed. We can only see pieces of it at once. The object is temporally foreshortened and it appears to be two dimensional but its structure occupies a higher dimensional phase space. Hyperobjects are things that are massively distributed in time and space relative to humans. The work uses spatial sound and algorithmic generated graphics and reflects on the aesthetics of cinema sound, visual music and virtual reality. Martin Jaroszewicz
